ELECTRICAL REQUIREMENTS WARNING Electrical Shock Hazard Plug into a grounded 3 prong outlet. Do not remove ground prong. Do not use an adapter. Do not use an extension cord. Failure to follow these instructions can result in death, fire or electrical shock. ✔ Check whether the voltage of power supply at the installation place is the same indicated on the attached tag, next to the power supply cord plug of your Refrigerator. The refrigerator shall be connected to a good wall outlet.
3 Operation USING THE REFRIGERATOR Note: Please allow your refrigerator to stand for a minimum of 1 hour prior to being plugged in or turned on. This is necessary to allow the refrigerant to settle properly in the system after any tipping experienced during transport and set-up. This should be repeated any time after the refrigerator has been handled or moved about. Failure to do this can lead to premature compressor failure or system damage.
Note: Do not use sharp or metal objects to remove the ice. They can damage the cooling system. ✔ Excessive ice build-up is harmful to refrigerator performance and requires more effort from the compressor. ✔ Defrost the Icemaker about once a week or when the ice layer is between 0.5 to 1.0 cm or approximately the thickness of a pencil). ✔ Set thermostat to the OFF position. ✔ Unplug the refrigerator. ✔ Remove the items from the Icemaker and store it in a thermal insulated container.
WHEN YOU ARE AWAY ✔ It is not necessary to switch off your refrigerator if you will be away for a short period of time (a few days). Remove perishable food from the refrigerator and set the thermostat to minimum. ✔ Place your refrigerator in a ventilated spot, away from direct sun light, hot surfaces, or humid places. REVERSING THE DOOR ✔ If you will be away for a long period, unplug the refrigerator, remove all food, defrost and clean it. Remove ice cube trays. ✔ To remove the removable counter (Fig.
✔ Remove plastic covers “C” (Fig. 3) and place them where screws “B” used to be. ✔ Remove plastic cover “D” plastic bush “E” inverting their position (Fig. 4). ✔ Remove plastic bush “F” and place it in the hole located on the lower left side of the door. 4 Problems and Solutions In case your refrigerator presents any problem make the following checks before calling your dealer. PROBLEM PROBABLE CAUSE SOLUTION The refrigerator does not operate/ switch on. No electricity supplied. Check the fuse or circuit breaker and also if the unit is plugged in. Deffective wall outlet (check with another appliance). Change/fix the wall outlet. Voltage inversion. Check unit and electrical supply voltage. Set it to the right voltage. Thermostat set to “OFF”.
