DRAINING RESIDUAL WATER
Residual water must be drained:
•
Before transporting the machine.
•
If the “Clean pump” indicator lights up
(see “Troubleshooting Guide” and previous chapter
“Cleaning the Filter”).
1.
Stop the washing machine and unplug it.
2.
Turn off the water tap.
3.
Open the filter cover by using a coin, for example.
4.
Place a shallow container beneath the pump access.
5.
Slowly turn the filter counterclockwise until the water
begins to drain out, but do not yet remove it
completely.
6.
Wait until all the water has drained.
7.
Now unscrew the filter completely and remove it.
8.
Tilt the appliance forwards carefully to allow the
remaining water to flow out.
9.
Reinstall the filter by screwing it in clockwise as far as it
will go.
10.
Check that the filter is properly fixed and close the filter
cover.
Before using the washing machine again:
1.
Pour approx. 1 litre of water into the machine, directly
on the drum, to reactivate the “Eco system”.
2.
Plug in the appliance again.
