Instruction for Use

The star freezer compartment may be
used to store frozen products for the time
indicated on the packaging and to freeze
fresh food by placing it on the shelf in the top
of the freezer. Frozen products should
instead be stored in the bottom of the freezer
compartment to prevent contact with food
still to be frozen.
The rating plate shows the quantity of fresh
food that can be frozen in 24 hours.
Important:
Wrap and seal fresh food in:
Aluminium foil, cling film, air and water-tight
plastic bags, polythene containers with lids or
special freezer containers.
The freezer compartment is able to maintain
correct storage temperatures even in the
case of power failure. If this is the case, do
not open the freezer door until power is
restored.
Important:
Refer to the adjacent table for fresh food
storage times (months).
When you purchase frozen food, make sure:
The packaging is undamaged (frozen food in
damaged packaging may have deteriorated).
If the package bulges or is marked by liquid
stains, the product has not been correctly
stored and may have partially thawed.
When shopping, leave frozen food purchases
until last and transport items in insulated
bags.
Place items in the freezer as soon as you get
home.
If food has partially thawed, do not refreeze.
Consume within 24 hours.
Avoid subjecting frozen foods to temperature
variations. Observe the "Best before date" on
the packaging.
Always observe the storage information on
packages.
Making ice cubes
Fill the ice cube tray three quarters full with
water and place in the bottom of the freezer
compartment.
If the ice cube tray sticks to the bottom of the
compartment do not use pointed or sharp
instruments to detach them.
