RECOMMENDATIONS IN CASE THE APPLIANCE IS NOT USED
IN THE EVENT OF NONUSE OF THE APPLIANCE
1. If the unit is not used for prolonged periods, make sure
that it is safely unplugged. Otherwise electric shock or re
may occur.
2. Insert the plug into the fastening hole (16) and secure the
power cord with a plastic cable tie (20).
3. Drain out all the water and use a soft cloth to clean the
water bucket.
4. Clean the air lter.
5. Cover the unit to prevent dust build-up. Store the unit
vertically in a cool and dry place.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
CLEANING THE DEHUMIDIFIER
1. Switch the unit o and unplug it.
2. Clean the air intake (9) and outlet (4) using a soft cloth.
Dust tends to accumulate in these points.
3. Do not use petrol or solvents.
4. Clean the surface with a soft damp cloth, using water or
mild detergent only.
5. Wipe dry with a dry cloth.
1. Remove the panel
Press the clips (12) to the sides of the front panel (11) and then open the front panel
by roughly 20° (Fig. 1, step ). Pull the front panel upwards as shown in Fig. 1 step
to remove the panel.
2. Remove the air lter
Pull the air lter (10) outwards as shown in Fig. 2 step , then remove it.
3. Clean the lter
Use a vacuum cleaner to remove the dust from the lter. If the lter is very dirty, clean
it with warm water and neutral detergent (Fig. 3). After cleaning it, leave it to dry at
room temperature until all its parts are thoroughly dry.
4. Replace the air lter
Re-insert the lter into the clips until it clicks into place as shown in Fig. 4, then check
whether it is fastened tightly. Next, assemble the front panel (11) in reverse order.
NOTE: Once the air lter has been cleaned, press the Fan and Humidity buttons
simultaneously to turn o the clean lter indicator (see "Resetting the lter" paragraph
under "Function Descriptions").
NOTE: Never use water to wash the dehumidier.
If the appliance operates in the same position for several days, check for dirt beneath and around it. Move the unit
intermittently and clean the oor beneath it.
CLEANING THE AIR FILTER
If the lter is clogged with dust, the airow and unit's performance will be adversely aected. Check and clean the lter every
two weeks to prevent this from occurring.
NOTE: The air lter should be cleaned every two weeks. Insucient ventilation may cause poor dehumidication
performance, frost build-up and dripping.
