Refrigerator compartment
• Toreducehumidityandconsequentincreaseoffrostneverplaceliquidsinunsealedcontainersin
therefrigerator.
• Neverplacewarmfoodintherefrigerator.Warmfoodshouldbeallowedtocoolatroom
temperatureandarrangedtoensureadequateaircirculationintherefrigeratorcompartment.
• Arrangemeatandcleanedsh(wrappedinpackagesorsheetsofplastic)andusethemwithin1-2
days.
• Youcanputthefruitsandvegetablesintothecrisperwithoutany
packaging.
Important note:
• Coveranycookeddisheswhenyouputtheminthefridge.Place
theminthefridgewhentheyarecool,otherwisetemperature/humidity
insidethefridgeincreaseswhichcausesthefridgetoworkharder.
Coveringfoodandbeveragesalsopreservestheiravourandaroma.
• Potatoes,onionandgarlicshouldnotbekeptinthefridge.
• Makesurefooddoesnottouchthetemperaturesensorwhich
islocatedintherefrigeratorcompartment.Tokeepanoptimum
temperatureintherefrigeratorcompartment,makesurefooddoesn’t
makecontactwiththesensor.
Freezer compartment
• Thefreezercompartmentisusedforfreezingfreshfood,forstoringfrozenfoodsfortheperiodof
timeindicatedonpackagingandformakingicecubes.
• Donotputfreshandwarmfoodsinthefreezerdoorshelvestobefrozen.Onlyusethedoor
shelvesforstoringfrozenfoods.
• Donotputfreshandwarmfoodnexttofrozenfoodasitcanthawthefrozenfood.
• Usethefastfreezingshelftofreezehomecooking(andanyotherfoodwhichneedstobefrozen
quickly)morequicklybecauseofthefreezingshelf’sgreaterfreezingpower.
• Whilefreezingfreshfoods(i.e.meat,shandmincemeat)dividetheminportionsyouwilluseina
singleserving.Whilefreezingfreshfoods,themaximumamountoffreshfood(inkg)thatcanbe
frozenin24hoursisindicatedontheappliancelabel.
• Foroptimumapplianceperformancetoreachmaximumfreezingcapacity,turnthethermostatknob
tothecoldestsetting24hoursbeforeplacingfreshfoodintothefreezer.
• Afterplacingfreshfoodintothefreezer,havingthethermostatknobsettothecoldestsettingfor24
hoursisgenerallysufcient.After24hours,youcanreducethethermostatknobsettingifrequired.
• Attention.Tosaveenergy,ifyouareonlyfreezingsmallamountsoffood,youdonotneedtoset
thethermostatknobtothecoldestsetting.
• Forstoringfrozenfoods,theinstructionsshownonfrozenfoodpackagesshouldalwaysbe
followedcarefully.Ifnoinformationisprovided,foodshouldnotbestoredformorethan3months
fromthepurchaseddate.
• Whenbuyingfrozenfoodensurethatthesehavebeenfrozenatsuitabletemperaturesandthatthe
packingisintact.
• Frozenfoodshouldbetransportedinappropriatecontainerstomaintainthequalityofthefoodand
shouldbereturnedtothefreezingsurfacesoftheunitintheshortestpossibletime.
• Ifapackageoffrozenfoodshowsthesignofhumidityandabnormalswellingitisprobablethatit
hasbeenpreviouslystoredatanunsuitabletemperatureandthatthecontentshavedeteriorated.
