N C BEFORE USING THE APPLIANCE Read these user instructions carefully to learn about all the functions of your washing machine. x x Make sure that the appliance has not been damaged in transit. Remember: the appliance is designed only for home use. x x Make sure that water and electrical connections are made by a qualified technician, observing the manufacturer’s instructions (see “Installation” section) and local safety regulations. Remove the transit bolts (see “Installation” section).
N C SORTING THE WASH 1. Sort the wash according to... x Type of fabric / care label symbol Cotton, mixed fibre, synthetic, wool. x Colour Divide whites and coloureds. Wash new coloured items separately. x Size Items of different sizes in the same load will improve the washing action and tend to distribute more uniformly in the drum. x Sensitivity Wash delicate articles separately: use special programmes for pure new wool , curtains and other delicate articles.
N C ADDING DETERGENT DETERGENT DOSAGES CHOOSING THE RIGHT DETERGENT The type of detergent depends on x the type of fabric (cottons, synthetics, delicate items, wool) x colour x wash temperature x degree and type of soiling You can use any make of detergent recommended for domestic washing machines. Follow the dosages on the detergent package in accordance with: x degree and type of soiling x size of wash - full load: according to manufacturers’ instructions - part load: 3/4 of the normal amount.
N C ADDING DETERGENT ADDING DETERGENT AND OTHER PRODUCTS 1. Pull out the detergent drawer. Depending on the model, the detergent drawer may have three or four compartments. 2. N C DYEING AND BLEACHING DYEING AND BLEACHING x x Dyeing: pour the dye directly into the drum. x Use exclusively dyes and bleaches recommended for washing machines. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions. Plastic and rubber parts of the machine may be stained by dyes or bleaches. N C PROGRAMME END DOOR LOCK When you start the programme the door is automatically locked until the programme terminates. WHEN THE PROGRAMME COMES TO AN END Programme selector knob stops on “Stop” position 1. Press the “On/Off” button. 2. Cancel the options by pressing the concerned buttons. x 3. Turn off the tap. 4. Wait until the door lock is released (about two minutes). 5. Open the door and remove the wash. Important: leave the door slightly ajar so that the drum can dry properly.

Disengage the drawer by pressing the release lever on the prewash compartment and extract. w. Remove the inserts (the siphon from the softener compartment and the coloured insert for liquid detergent). 3. Wash all the parts under running water. 4. Replace the parts and refit the drawer. Push the siphon firmly into place.
N C TROUBLE-SHOOTING GUIDE The appliance will not switch on/stops during a wash cycle. x Power plug properly inserted in mains socket? x Mains fuse OK? x Power failure? x Tap turned on? No water supply? x Door closed? x Programme selected? x “On/Off” button pressed? No water or insufficient water supply Tap turned on completely? Kink in water hose? Water hose filters clogged? N C INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS TRANSIT BOLTS Your machine has been assembled with special transit bolts to prevent possible transit damages. Before using the machine you must remove the transit bolts (Fig. 1). Depending on the model, there are three (Fig. 2) or four transit bolts (Fig. 3). 1. Slacken the bolts with the wrench supplied. 2. Unscrew the bolts fully by hand. 3. Hold each bolt head and pull the bolts through the wide part of the holes. 4.
N C INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS LEVELLING Install the appliance on a solid and level floor surface, preferably in a corner of the room. x Make sure that all four feet are stable and resting on the floor and then check that the appliance is perfectly level (use a spirit level). x If the floor is uneven, adjust the levelling feet as required (do not insert pieces of wood etc. under the feet). q. Slacken the locknut using the wrench supplied w. Adjust the height of the foot, turning it by hand. e.
N C INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS Connection of the outlet hose to the drainage 1. Connect the drain hose to the siphon or hook it over the edge of a sink (Fig. 1). Small washbasins are not suitable for this purpose. The edge of the sink should be no more than 1 m (about 3 ft 3inches) from the floor. 2. Minimum drain height =70 cm or 2ft. Maximum drain height =100 cm or 3ft. 3. If you need to add an extension, use a flexible hose of the same type and secure the union with screw-on hose clips.
N C INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS ELECTRICAL CONNECTION x x x x x Electrical connections must be made in accordance with local regulations. The electrical connection must be made only by means of a Shuko socket with earth connection, installed in accordance with established legislation. Voltage, power consumption and earthing information is shown on the service sticker inside the door. The mains connection line must be replaced by a licensed electrician only.
N C INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS MOBILITY WHEELS (for UK only) Depending on model, your washing machine is provided with mobility wheels. You will find these wheels in the accessory kit supplied with the machine, ou you can order them from our After-Sales Service. MOUNTING INSTRUCTIONS 1. Tilt the machine forward. 2.
