- Use safety gloves.
- Disconnect the appliance from the power supply.
PERIMETER SUCTION PANEL
The suction panel must be cleaned with the same frequency as the grease filter. Use a damp cloth and a
soft liquid detergent.
Do not use products containing abrasives. DO NOT USE ALCOHOL!
The panel normally covers the grease filters, and must therefore be opened each time access to the
grease filters and the inside of the hood is required (e.g. to replace the carbon filters).
Opening: Pull the panel (LEFT SIDE) downwards.
Closing: The panels must be fixed to the appropriate pins on the surface of the hood.
WARNING: Always check that the panel is fitted properly.
GREASE FILTERS
The filter traps all cooking grease particles.
The metal grease filter has unlimited duration. It should be washed at least once a month, either by hand,
or by placing it in the dishwasher (use a short cycle and low temperature).
If washed in the dishwasher, the grease filter surface may become matt. This will not cause any reduction
of performance.
To remove the filter pull out the handle.
After the filter has been washed and dried, replace following the inverse procedure.
REPLACING THE ALOGEN LAMPS
- Only use 12V 20W 30° Ø35 12V GU4 halogen lamps.
1. Disconnect the hood from the electric power supply.
2. Use a small screwdriver to remove the lamp by pushing its edges upwards.
3. Remove the faulty light bulb and replace with a new one.
CARBON FILTER
(filter models only)
The carbon filter traps unpleasant cooking smells.
Replace the carbon filter every 4 months.
Fitting or replacing the carbon filter
1. Disconnect the hood from the electric power supply.
2. Remove the grease filters.
