IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS YOUR SAFETY AND THAT OF OTHERS IS VERY IMPORTANT On the appliance itself and in these instructions for use are important safety warnings that must be read, understood and always followed. This is the danger symbol, pertaining to safety, which alerts users to potential risks to themselves and others. All safety warnings are preceded by the danger symbol and the following terms: DANGER Indicates a hazardous situation which, if not avoided, will cause serious injury.
-- Regulations require that the appliance is earthed. -- The mains cable must be sufficiently long for the appliance to be connected to a power socket once it is in place. -- For installation to comply with current safety regulations, an omnipolar switch with minimum contact gap of 3mm is required. -- Do not use extension leads or multiple adapters. -- Do not connect the appliance to a socket which can be operated by remote control or timer. -- Do not pull on the mains cable.
-- At the end of cooking, exercise caution when opening the appliance door, allowing the hot air or steam to exit gradually before accessing the appliance. Do not obstruct the vent apertures. -- Use oven gloves to remove pans and accessories, taking care not to touch the heating elements. -- Do not place flammable materials on or near the appliance. a fire may break out if the appliance is inadvertently switched on. -- Do not use your microwave oven for heating anything in airtight sealed containers.
-- Do not use the microwave oven for cooking or reheating whole eggs (with or without shell) as they may explode even after microwave heating has ended. -- If any material inside/outside the appliance should ignite or smoke is observed, keep the oven door closed and turn the oven off. Disconnect the power cord or shut off power at the fuse or circuit breaker panel. -- Do not over-cook food. Fire could occur. -- Cleaning is the only maintenance normally required.

RECOMMENDED USAGE AND TIPS HOW TO READ THE FOOD PREPARATION TABLE The table states which functions are most suitable for different types of food. Cooking times, where indicated, start from the moment when food is placed in the microwave oven cavity, excluding pre-heating (where required). of food and what accessories are used. Always begin by cooking food for the minimum time required, and then check that it is cooked through.
ACCESSORIES GENERAL There are a number of accessories available on the market. Before you buy, ensure they are suitable for microwave use. Press the power button repeatedly t o set the power to 0 W. Press the Start button. Once the timer has finished, a beep will sound. CLOCK wr q et When the oven is first connected to the electricity supply, or after a power cut, the display is blank.
COOKING AND REHEATING WITH MICROWAVES w q w e q e Use this function for normal cooking and reheating, such as vegetables, fish, potatoes and meat. Press the plus/minus buttons (+/-) t o set the time. Press the power button repeatedly to set the power. Press the Start button. Once cooking has begun, you can easily increase the time by 30 seconds at a time by pressing the start button. Each press increases the time with 30 seconds.
JET START This function is used for quick reheating of food with a high water content such as clear soups, coffee or tea. q q Press the Start button. This function automatically starts with maximum microwave power level and the cooking time set to 30 seconds. Each press increases the time by 30 seconds. You may also alter the time by pressing the plus/minus buttons (+/-) to increase or decrease the time after the function has started.
JET DEFROST q q w e Press the Jet Defrost button. e w Use this function only if the net weight is between 100 g and 2 kg. Always put the food on the turntable. Press the plus/minus buttons (+/-) t o set the weight. Press the Start button. Midway through the defrosting process, the oven stops and prompts you to TURN THE FOOD . Open the door. Turn the food. Close the door and press the Start button. ɳɳ ɳɳ ɳɳ Note: The oven continues automatically after 2 min. if the food hasn’t been turned.
MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING Cleaning is usually the only maintenance required. If the oven is not kept clean, its surfaces may become damaged, which in turn can reduce the oven's service life and cause dangerous situations. Do not use metal scouring pads, abrasive cleansers , steel-wool pads, gritty washcloths, etc. which can damage the control panel, and the interior and exterior oven surfaces. Use a sponge with a mild detergent or a paper towel with spray glass cleaner.
TROUBLESHOOTING If the oven does not work, do not make a service call until you have made the following checks: Check that the turntable and turntable support are in place. Check that the plug is properly inserted in the wall socket. Check that the door is properly closed. Check your fuses and ensure that there is power available. Check that the oven has adequate ventilation. Wait for 10 minutes, then try to operate the oven once more. Open and then close the door before you try again.
