Operating instructions Starting Your Dryer Before starting your dryer, be sure laundry is sorted and loaded properly (see your”Dryer Guide”). Be sure the door is tightly closed. 1 . Select Set a CYCLE Turn the Control Knob either way to point to the cycle and time setting you want. 3 . Push the START Button To stop the dryer, open the door (or turn the Control Knob to OFF). I II Selecting a Cycle Dryer cycles are designed for the proper fabrics. This dryer has 3 cycles: REGULAR HEAVY-The heat is off during the last 5 minutes of tumbling. The load is cooled down for more comfortable handling. drying of different kinds of AIR - No heat. This cycle is useful when drying heat-sensitive items or when fluffing pillows and bedding or dusting sheers and curtains. PERMANENT PRESS -The heat is off during the last IU minutes of tumbling to help keep wrinkles from setting in.
Mixed loads To help reduce wrinkling, take the load from the dryer as soon as tumbling stops. This is very important for permanent press, knits and other synthetic fabrics. When drying a load with different kinds and weights of fabrics, use the cycle suggested forthe lightest fabrics. When the dryer stops, remove dry items and reset the control. . Suggested load sizes Use these load size recommendations for your compact dryer.
Lint screen Pull straight out. The lint screen is inside the dryer drum, on the back wall. Clean it before each load. A screen blocked by lint can increase drying time. 1. Use the finger holes to pull the lint screen straight out. 2. Lightly squeeze the body, as shown, while pulling the cover off. 3. Roll lint off the screen with your fingers. DO NOT rinse or wash the screen. Wet lint is hard to remove. Squeeze body; pull cover off. 4. Replace the cover on the body of the lint screen. 5.
Remove loose and sharp objects from DOCketS and cuffs before drvina pins, buckles, etc. Close metal . zippers. Wipe off all spills with a damp, soft cloth. Spills allowed to remain may dull or damage the finish. Never leave wet or damp in your dryer. laundry Sharp or heavy objects should never be put on or in the dryer. Check pockets for bolts, nuts, etc. Some pretreatment products can damage dials, consoles and finish. Do not use these products on or near your dryer.

Dryer times will be longer if 208 volt current is used. Power supply for Dryer Model LE4930XS Optional Installation Dryer Models LE4900XS and LG4931XS operate on household current of 120 volts. Drying times will be longer than for dryers that operate on 240 volts.
