- 1 - put on safety glasses and gloves
- 2 - remove cardboard shipping base
- 3 - remove parts from package
- 4 - snap rear leveling legs into place
- 5 - check to see if rear legs adjust
- 6 - check the ridges for diamond marking
- 7 - stand washer/dryer upright
- 8 - remove carton
- 9 - remove corner posts and corner pieces
- 10 - move foam shipping pieces outward just enough to clear washer lid
- 11 - remove shipping piece inside washer
- 12 - take hoses and package out of basket
- 13 - release washer lid
- 14 - connect power supply cord or cable to dryer
- 15 - insert a flat washer into each end of the inlet hoses
- 16 - attach hoses to inlet valve
- 17 - to prevent the drain hose form coming off or leaking
- 18 - standpipe or laundry tub drain system
- 19 - move washer/dryer close to final position
- 20 - check for proper length of drain hose
- 21 - run water through faucets
- 22 - attach hoses to faucet
- 23 - move washer/dryer into final position
- 24 - secure drain hose to laundry tub or standpipe
- 25 - remove access panel
- 26 - determine the length of exhaust vent that is needed
- 27 - connect exhaust vent
- 28 - check electrical requirements
- 29 - check that all parts are now installed
- 30 - check that you removed all shipping pieces
- 31 - check that you have all your tools
- 32 - turn on water faucets and check for leaks
- 33 - replace access panel
- 34 - read use and care guide
- 35 - plug power supply cord into grounded outlet
- 36 - start dryer to remove air from the gas supply line
