Disconnect the range from power supply or turn
off the power supply before providing
maintenance to this appliance.
Replace all parts and components before turning
on the range.
Do not remove ground prong.
Not following these instructions could cause fire,
explosion or death.
The location of the range should be away from the elements and over a flat resistant surface.
Don’t install your range over a carpet or any flammable material. If the ground under the range is synthetic, make sure
it withstand at least 95°C without damage.
Don’t allow children or people unfamiliar with the range to use it.
Provide the correct maintenance to the appliance.
Use this range for household use only, this is not a commercial appliance.
Installation
It’s the installer’s responsibility to fulfill with a correct installation. Therefore we recommend you to contact a
Whirlpool Service technician or equivalent qualified technical the spaces specified in this manual.
Remove the adhesive tape and packaging materials from the range. Identify and install the accessories of the range.
The best location for your new range should be in a place protected from wind flow and with enough space to open the
door oven.
Don’t install cabinets or other furniture over the range.
If hood will be installed, make sure it is at least 61 cm from the range.
If the range has electric accessories that need a power supply, make sure to install the range close from an electric outlet.
This gas range is equipped with a 3 lead grounded plug. The power cord should be connected to a wall outlet properly
grounded.
Do not remove the ground prong from the plug. Do not use extension cord or power bars to power up this appliance.
BACKGUARD INSTALLATION
1.
Remove the backguard part from the oven and
remove the packaging material.
A bag with installation
screws must be
included.
2.
Place the backboard over the cooktop, and move it
to the
back of the range. Make sure that the holes
on the back of the cooktop match with the holes on
the backguard. See figure on the right.

Use a Phillips screwdriver and screw attach the back board using the 4 screws provided with the range. After
this, you can continue with the electrical connection of the range.
If your range is equipped with a backguard (see chart on page 3), this piece will be packed separately inside of the
oven cavity. Follow these steps to install the backguard:
