Recommended ground method Electrical Shock Hazard Plug into a grounded 3-prong outlet. Do not remove ground prong. Do not use an adapter. Failure to follow these instructions can result in death, fire, or electrical shock. If codes permit and a separate ground wire is used, it is recommended that a qualified electrician determine that the ground path is adequate. Do Not ground to a gas pipe. Check with a qualified electrician if you are not sure range is properly grounded.

Check operation Check operation of oven burner Electronic ignition system .. Open oven door. Cooktop and oven burners use electronic ignitors in place of standing pilots. When a cooktop control knob is turned to the "LIGHT" position, the system creates a spark to light the burner. This sparking continues until the control knob is turned to the desired setting. When the oven control is turned to the desired setting, a hot surface ignitor heats to a bright orange and ignites the gas, No sparking occurs.

Press the "CUSTOM BROIL" pad. • "525" or "HI" will appear in the display. • The "BROIL" indicator will light. 2. The oven valve requires a certain time before it will open and allow gas to flow.
