DISPLAY CODE DESCRIPTION POSSIBLE CAUSES SOLUTION
F0E8 Wrong IPC con guration IPC replaced and not
re-con gured
Follow “Parts con guration” instructions to
con gure the product
If this does not  x:
1. Unplug cooktop or disconnect power
2. Remove the glass to access the inside of the
cooktop.
3. Replace IPC
Replace all parts and panels before operating.
4. Reassemble the product
5. Plug in cooktop or reconnect power.
6. Make sure to Con gure again the product
before to verify operation accessing to
Con guration Menu and set the correct
con guration number.
7. Verify operation is normal.
F0EA The control panel
switches off because
of excessively high
temperatures OR Coil
NTC short.
The internal temperature of
electronic parts is too high.
Wait for the hob to cool down before using it
again.
1. Unplug cooktop or disconnect power
2. Remove the glass to access the inside of the
cooktop.
3. Check Coil NTC for short circuit:
If Coil NTC is bad, replace Coil
If Coil NTC is OK, replace IPC
Replace all parts and panels before operating.
4. Reassemble the product
5. Plug in cooktop or reconnect power.
6. Make sure to Con gure again the product
before to verify operation accessing to
Con guration Menu and set the correct
con guration number.
7. Verify operation is normal.
F0EC Coil NTC open Coil NTC open Wait for the hob to cool down before using it
again.
1. Unplug cooktop or disconnect power
2. Remove the glass to access the inside of the
cooktop.
3. Check Coil NTC connection:
If NTC is disconnected, reconnect and
check if problem still present
If NTC is connected but bad, replace Coil
If NTC and connection is OK, replace IPC
Replace all parts and panels before operating.
4. Reassemble the product
5. Plug in cooktop or reconnect power.
6. Make sure to Con gure again the product
before to verify operation accessing to
Con guration Menu and set the correct
con guration number.
7. Verify operation is normal.
