Display Description Explanation/Recommended Procedure
f:25 Inlet Thermistor Shorted F:25 displays if the inlet thermistor is shorted.This fault
code appears ONLY when in the DiagnosticTest Mode.
■ See TEST #4a,page 13.
f:26 Motor Drive System Failure F:26 displays if there is a motor drive system failure.
■ See TEST #3, page 10.
f:28 Moisture Sensor Open F:28 displays if the moisture sensor strip is open.
This fault code appears ONLY when in the Diagnostic
Test Mode.
■ See TEST #5, page 15.
f:29 Moisture Sensor Shorted F:29 displays if the moisture sensor strip has shorted.
This fault code appears ONLY when in the Diagnostic
Test Mode.
■ See TEST #5, page 15.
f:30 RestrictedAir F:30 displays if a restricted air flow condition exists.
Flow Condition This fault code appears ONLY when in the Diagnostic
Test Mode.
■ Check to make sure the lint screen is clean, the
door seal is in place,and the vent is not obstructed.
■ See DIAGNOSTIC:Displaying Inlet Air Flow, page 3.
f:31 L2 LineVoltage Error F:31 displays if a low voltage condition (less than
30V) has been detected.This fault code appears
ONLY when in the Diagnostic Test Mode.
■ Check to see if a household fuse has blown
or a circuit breaker has tripped.
■ Confirm the power cord is properly installed
and plugged into the power outlet.
■ Check the relay connections on the electronic
control.
f:50 Water Valve Failure F:50 displays if no voltage is detected at the water
valve relay. This fault code appears ONLY when in
the Diagnostic Test Mode.
■ Check that the wires are plugged in on the valve
and at the relay on the electronic control.
f:70 No Communication F:70/F:71 displays when there is no communication
or Between Electronic between the machine control and the console
f:71 Assemblies electronics.
■ Check the harness connections at the machine control,
isolation board,and at the console electronics.
■ Replace the machine control electronics. See
Accessing & Removing the Electronic Assemblies,
page 17.
f:72 Console Electronics F:72 through F:78 displays when there is a console
through f:78 Failure electronics failure.
