TESTING – DRYER
For Service Technician Use Only
WARNING
Electrical Shock Hazard
Disconnect power before servicing.
Failure to do so can result in death or
electrical shock.
Replace all parts and panels before operating.
TEST #5: Door Switch
1. Unplug dryer or disconnect power.
2. Check wire connecons at the door switch and Start
switch.
3. With the door closed, check connuity between the two
outer pins on the door switch (see Figure 1).

¾ If there is no connuity, replace the door switch.
4. Reassemble all parts and panels.
5. Plug in dryer or reconnect power.
