TROUBLESHOOTING
If you experience Possible Causes Solution
Wash cycle not performing as expected (cont.)
Gray whites, dingy colors Load not sorted properly. The transfer of dye can occur when mixing whites and colors
in a load. Sort dark clothes from whites and lights.
Wash temperatures too low. Use hot or warm temperatures if safe for the load.
Not enough detergent used,
or hard water.
Use more detergent for washing heavy soils in cold or
hard water.
Incorrect dispenser
operation
Clogged dispensers or laundry
products dispensing too soon.
Do not overll dispenser.

Single-dose laundry
packet not dissolving
Adding laundry packet incorrectly. Be sure laundry packet is added to washer/dryer drum before
adding clothes. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions to avoid
damage to your garments.
Washer/dryer not loaded
as recommended (washer/dryer
is tightly packed).
Reduce load size to allow single-dose laundry packet
to dissolve.
Cycle time changes
or cycle time too long
Normal washer/dryer operation. The cycle times vary automatically based on your water
pressure, water temperature, detergent, and clothes load.
The options you select will also affect the cycle times.
Excessive suds in washer/dryer. When excessive suds are detected, a special suds routine
automatically starts to remove extra suds and ensure proper
rinsing of your garments. This routine will add time to the
original cycle.
Load may be out of balance. When load unbalance occurs, a washing process will start
to redistribute the load. This extends the cycle time. Avoid
washing single items. Balance a single item such as a rug
or jean jacket with a few extra items.
Not using correct cycle
for load type.

without increasing cycle times.
