BEFORE FIRST USE
Carefullywipetheoutsideoftheappliancetoremove
any dust that may have accumulated. Dry with adry
cloth. Do not immerse the supply cord in water or other
liquids.Ifyouareusingthekettleforthersttime,itis
recommendedthatyoucleanitbeforeusebyboilinga
full kettle of water twice and discarding the water.
OPERATION OF YOUR KETTLE
Usethekettleonlywithitsincludedbase.
1. To llthe kettle,remove itfrom thepower base
and open the lid by pressing the lid opening
button,llwiththedesiredamountofwater,and
thenclosethelid.Alternatively,thekettlemaybe
lled through the spout. The water level should
not exceedthe maxmarks orsit belowthe min
level.Toolittlewaterwillcausethekettletoswitch
offbeforethewaterhasboiled.
The max capacity of the kettle is 1.7L. Do not
add water over the maximum level, as it may
spill out of the spout when boiling. Ensure that the
lid is rmly in place before connecting the plug into
a power outlet.
2. Positionthekettleonthepowerbase.
3. Connect the plug into a power outlet. Press down
the switch: the indicator in the water gauge will
light up.Then start boiling the water. The kettle
will switch off automatically once the water has
boiled.
4. Liftthekettlefromthepowerbaseandthenpour
the water.
5. The kettle will not boil again until the switch is
pressedagain.The kettlemay bestoredon the
powerbasewhennotinuse.
Ensure that the switch is free of obstructions
and the lid is rmly closed. The kettle will not
turn off if the switch is constrained or if the lid is
open.
Be careful when pouring the water from your
kettle as boiling water may cause scalds. Do
not open the lid while the water in the kettle is hot.
BOIL-DRY PROTECTION
Should you accidentally let the kettle operate without
water, theboil-dry protectionwill automatically switch
off the power. If this occurs, allow the kettle to cool
downbeforellingwithcoldwater.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Always disconnect the appliance from the power outlet
beforecleaning.
