TROUBLESHOOTING Most cooking problems often are caused by little things you can find and fix without tools of any kind. Check the lists below and on the next page before calling for assistance or service. If you still need help, see "Requesting Assistance or Service" on page 28. PROBLEM CAUSE Nothing works • The range is not plugged into a properly grounded outlet (120v polarized). • The range is not properly connected to the gas supply.
PROBLEM SOLUTION Cookware not level on cooktop (Check to see if liquids are level in cookware) • Level the range. (See the Installation Instructions.) • Use cookware with a flat bottom. Excessive heat on cooktop in areas around cookware • Choose cookware the same size or slightly larger than the burner flame. PROBLI_ME CAUSE Le brQleur ne s'allume pas • Le bouton de commande n'est pas correctement r6g16. Appuyer sur les boutons de commande avant de les tourner. S'assurer que le bouton de commande est tourn6 & la position Light (Allumage). (Voir page 5.) • Le fusible a grill6 ou le disjoncteur s'est ouvert. • Les orifices du brQleur sont obstru6s. Chaleur excessive sur la table de cuisson autour des ustensiles de cuisson • Choisir un ustensile de cuisson de la m_me dimension ou 16g@ement plus grand que la flamme du bQleur.
