CLEANING YOUR APPLIANCE
x Turn off the power, unplug the appliance, and remove all contents from the appliance and store them in a
suitable place.
x Clean the inside, the door seal and the inside of the glass with a clean, damp cloth.
x Never use detergents or other substances that emit odors.
x Always keep the door closed when cleaning the outside of the appliance. Make sure no detergent odors pen-
etrate into the appliance.
x Clean the side panels and door surfaces with a clean and soft cloth. If necessary, use a moist cloth. Alterna-
tively, use a microfiber cloth.
x The humidity tray should be hand-washed with water and detergent. After cleaning, always make sure the
tray is thoroughly rinsed with clean water before replacing.
PREMISES POWER FAILURE
x In the event of a power interruption, temperature settings automatically defaults to factory settings once
power is restored.
x Factory default temperature setting is 40ºF. To set a different desired temperature, refer to the "SETTING
THE TEMPERATURE" and “ºC and ºF SELECTOR” section on page 8.
x Most power failures are corrected within a few hours and should not affect the temperature of your appliance
if you minimize the number of times the door is opened. If the power is going to be off for a longer period of
time, you need to take the proper steps to protect your contents.
VACATION TIME
x Short vacations: Leave the appliance operating during vacations of less than two days.
x Long vacations: If the appliance will not be used for an extended period, remove all items and turn off the
appliance. Clean and dry the interior thoroughly.
MOVING YOUR APPLIANCE
x Remove all items inside the appliance.
x Securely tape down (we recommend using painter’s tape) all loose items (shelves) inside your appliance.
x Turn the adjustable legs up to the base to avoid damage.
x Tape (we recommend using painter’s tape) the door shut.
x Be sure the appliance stays secure in the upright position during transportation and protect the exterior of
appliance with a blanket, or similar item.
PREPARING FOR STORAGE
If the beverage refrigerator will not be used for a long time, or is to be moved to another place, it will be nec-
essary to defrost the unit and dry the interior.
1. Disconnect the beverage refrigerator from the power supply by removing the power plug from the wall
socket.
2. Leave the door open to allow for air circulation and to prevent mold, mildew and unpleasant smells.
CAUTION: Store the unit out of the reach of children. If you have children, you may want to take
additional precautions such as removing the door to prevent a child from being trapped inside the
beverage refrigerator
NOTE:
x If the beverage refrigerator is unplugged, encounter power lost, or turned off; you must wait 3 to 5 minutes
before restarting the beverage refrigerator.
