6. Press the
Esc
key until you exit the Configuration menu.
7. Power down the computer.
You have completed the pre-configuration for the unit.
8. Repeat the steps in To configure a 300-24 unit as a base or remote station and To
assign the base station or remote station an RF Station ID for each unit you need to
pre-configure.
Pre-configuring the Polling List
1. Connect a computer to the 300-24 unit you configured as a base station via the RS-232
serial port.
Note:
The computer should be off when you connect it to the 300-24.
2. Power up the computer.
The Login menu appears.
3. At the Enter Password prompt, type your User Password.
Note:
When you start the 300-24 unit for the first time, the following user names and
passwords apply:

The Main System menu appears:

You pre-configure

only the base
station.
