Chapter 6: Wi-Fi
Wi-Fi Status & Tray Icon
Detail Wi-Fi status is shown at Start > Settings > Control Panel > WLAN. Note also the Wi-Fi icon
displayed at taskbar for different Wi-Fi status.
Wi-Fi is off
Wi-Fi icon with a cross mark
Wi-Fi indicator / LED is off
Wi-Fi is searching for network
(access point)
Wi-Fi icon in amber
Wi-Fi indicator / LED in blue flash
(fast)
Wi-Fi connected to a network
(access point)
Wi-Fi icon in green
Wi-Fi indicator / LED in blue flash
(slow)
Configuring Wi-Fi Network & Single SSID Feature
Press WLAN button to turn on
Wi-Fi
Press “Choose Network” button
Wi-Fi scans and displays all
available networks (SSIDs)
Double click “Add New” to
manually add a new network
(SSID)
Enter SSID
On screen keyboard pops up
automatically in field SSID &
Network key. To toggle the
keyboard (hide & show), tap the
keyboard icon (“EN”)
