Description:
The WIR RX237 receiver is ideal for TV or stereo listening, meetings, offices, or other small group
listening applications. A 3.5mm jack allows the user to plug in a variety of listening accessories such
as an earphone, headphone, or neckloop. On/off switch is conveniently built into the receiver’s jack.
The WIR RX237 is compatible with transmitters operating on 2.3 MHz and/or 2.8 MHz frequency.

RX237 Receiver
The receiver shall be underchin with an IR detector lens in the face of the unit. The receiver shall be
compatible with transmitters operating on 2.3 MHz/2.8 MHz. The receiver shall have a rotary-type vol-
ume control and the power switch shall be built into the “jack,” so that the unit will automatically shut
off when the earphone or headphone is unplugged. The receiver shall have left and right tone and bal-
ance control adjustable by a screwdriver. The receiver shall operate for 6 hours per charge with 1 BAT
AP97A NiMH battery. The receiver shall be housed in a black ABS plastic case. The receiver shall provide
115 dB SSPL90 output (w/EAR 013). The system frequency response shall be 200 Hz to 8 kHz, and the sig-
nal-to-noise ratio shall be 60 dB at 9 m. The receiver shall have RoHS and WEEE approval and be covered
by a five-year parts and labor warranty*, 90 days on the battery. The receiver shall be the Williams
Sound Corp. model WIR RX237.
