Installation & Assembly

All Light fixtures are manufactured to be installed to a standard round junction box. The
instructions are written to start with a pre-existing junction box that is controlled by a switch. All
light fixtures are dimmer switch compatible. For the best results be sure that the light bulbs used
are also dimmer switch compatible.
1. Remove all items from their packaging.
• Light Fixture (actual light fixture will vary – but all fixtures that have a downrod follow
these instructions)
• Mounting hardware
- 6” and 12” downrods with coupler
- Ceiling mounting plate
NOTE: THE 12” AND 6” DOWNRODS
CAN BE JOINED WITH THE INCLUDED
COUPLER TO MAKE A SINGLE ROD OF
ABOUT 18”.
2. Determine the correct
length downrod for your
installation and screw into
the Ceiling Canopy with
the WNV logo facing the
downrod
3. Run the twisted black
power wire from the top of the fixture through downrod and out of the Ceiling Canopy
4. Screw the Ceiling Canopy and Downrod assembly into the Canopy affixed to the light fixture
5. With assistance, hold the fixture up to the junction box. Connect electrical wires from fixture to
existing power source. Connect the ground wire to the green grounding screw on the back of
the Ceiling Canopy
6. Use two mounting screws included to mount Ceiling Canopy to your electrical box.
7. Align the fixture in the direction desired
8. If you purchased the version with cages, remove the screws from the cage and fit around Black
Porcelain Sockets. Tighten the cages using screws.
9. Reconnect the power to the circuit (breaker or fuse)
10. Install your light bulbs and enjoy!
