2. Product Description
Wilsonart® RE-COVER™ Laminate is a self-adhesive High Pressure Laminate designed for resurfacing
over an existing High Pressure Decorative Laminate, Low Pressure Laminate (melamine),
painted/stained wood surface, or smooth metals can be used for both horizontal or vertical
applications (except for type 480).
Recommended Uses
Wilsonart® RE-COVER™ Laminate is suitable for flatwork use on fine quality residential and contract
furniture, casework designs, as well as architectural applications for wainscoting, valances, cornices,
interior doors and divider systems. RE-COVER Laminate must be bonded to a suitable substrate such
as particleboard, medium density fiberboard, plywood with one “A” face, previously bonded high
pressure, low pressure decorative laminate (melamine board),a painted/stained wood surface, or
smooth metals can be used for both horizontal and vertical applications (except for type 480).
• Wilsonart® RE-COVER™ Decorative Metals Type 480 is used for retail facilities, hotel and office
lobbies, theaters and restaurants. Type 480 is used when Wilsonart® Decorative Metal are
requested. Wilsonart Decorative Metals available with RE-COVER are Types 415 and 419. Type
480 is intended for vertical applications only.
• Wilsonart® RE-COVER™ Vertical Surface (VGS) Type 735 is the usual choice to surface cabinet
walls, doors and drawer panels. It often
appears on the vertical surfaces of desks, restaurants
booths and maitre d’ stations, and as architectural cladding. Type 735 is intended for both
vertical and horizontal applications where a functional, durable, decorative surface must absorb
somewhat less impact than a comparable horizontal surface.
• Wilsonart® RE-COVER™ Markerboard Type 736 is an innovative new option for Marker board
laminate installation and resurfacing for panels, doors, walls, and existing Marker boards.
Wilsonart. RE-COVER Marker board laminate transforms your surface into a writable marker
board surface.
• Wilsonart® RE-COVER™ Chalkboard Type 737 is an innovative new option for laminate
installation and resurfacing for panels, desks, tables, doors, and walls. Wilsonart RE-COVER
Chalkboard Laminate transforms any surface into a writable chalkboard surface.
• Wilsonart® RE-COVER™ Traceless™ Type 738 is suitable for use in retail, office furniture,
manufactured housing, hospitality, casework, countertops, and interior doors and also for
architectural application on wainscoting, valances, and divider systems.
• Wilsonart® RE-COVER™ Virtual Design Library Type 762 is used for work surfaces on islands,
counters, vanities, desks and tables. Type 762 is used when patterns from the Virtual Design
Library is specified. Type 762 is intended for vertical applications where a functional, durable,
decorative surface must absorb somewhat less impact than a comparable horizontal surface.
• Wilsonart® RE-COVER™ Virtual Design Library Type 764 is used for work surfaces on islands,
