2.10.2 VarioWIN with REG standard control
Switching on – Automatic operation:
1. Press the ON/OFF button on the InfoWIN panel, the display lighting is switched on, the signal lamp lights
up green and a self-test is performed (see also section 2.7.2). After a successful self-test and if a setpoint is
transferred by the control system, the VarioWIN automatically starts operation.
2. Set both manual switches to the “Automatic” position.
3. Set the operating mode switch on the REG standard control unit RAM 786 to “Automatic operation“ . The
REG standard control unit RAM 786 (installed in the living area) is used to operate the system (set the des-
ired temperatures and operating times) – please refer to the separate operating instructions.
The time must be set on the InfoWIN (see section 2.10.1.2). The time is used for the time control of the pel-
let feed, automatic heating surface cleaning and automatic ash compression.
Operating mode switch
Switching off:
1. Set “Standby” operating mode on the REG standard control unit (installed in the living area).
2. If the boiler has been out of service for an extended period during the summer months, press the ON/OFF
button on the InfoWIN unit.
Flue cleaning function:
This is operated using the InfoWIN unit – see section 2.7.6.
Emergency operation:
If the control system fails, you can use the two manual switches and on the boiler control panel and the
button on the InfoWIN unit (see section 2.7.5) to activate emergency operation to maintain heat and hot
water.
The anti-freeze function is not active when the boiler is shut off.
