As a safety feature, this plug fits in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit into the outlet, reverse the plug and try again. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to defeat this safety feature.

Do not exceed maximum water level shown by red ball indicator on front of unit. (To enhance heat-retention capabilities of thermal carafe, rinse it with warm water before using.) 5. Set filter basket on top of empty carafe and place on coffee maker. Press brew select button twice to activate coffee maker. The green On indicator light will illuminate.
