A. Premium Redwood: From the outer part of the tree with a natural resistance to
decay and insects throughout, resistance to shrinkage, warping and checking,
and characterized by a variation in colors that may include a mix of cream,
pink, dark red, and an occasional purple swirl mixed in. This wood also has a
dramatic grain pattern. Its open-celled structure contains little or no pitch or
resins enabling it to absorb and retain finishes extremely well.
B. Poplar: Carefully selected, premium cuts with a variety of cream and green
colors distinctive of Poplar.
C. Red Oak: Hardwood with legendary toughness.
