If you have questions, please contact the manufacturer. Before servicing or cleaning the unit, switch the power off and turn power off at the electrical panel and lock the service panel. This will prevent the power from accidentally turning on.
LOCATION REQUIREMENTS IMPORTANT: Observe all governing codes and ordinances. Have a qualified technician install the range hood. It is the installer's responsibility to comply with installation clearances specified on the model/serial rating plate. Canopy hood's location should be away from strong draft areas, such as windows, doors, and strong heating vents. Cabinet opening dimensions that are shown must be used. Given dimensions provide minimum clearance.
VENTILATION REQUIREMENTS General requirements ➢ ➢ ➢ ➢ Range hoods must be ventilated to the outdoors, except for non-vented (recirculating) installations. Do not ventilate the range hood into an attic or other enclosed areas. Do not use 4” (10.2 cm) laundry-type wall caps. The length of the range hood and the number of elbows should be kept to a minimum to provide maximum performance. For the most efficient and quiet operation ➢ ➢ ➢ ➢ ➢ ➢ ➢ Use no more than three 90-degree elbow.
Rear Discharge A 90-degree elbow may be installed immediately above the hood. For Non-Vented (recirculating) Installations If it is not possible to vent cooking fumes and vapors to the outside, certain hoods can be used in the non-vented (recirculating) version, fitting a carbon filter at the motor. Fumes and vapors are the recycled through the top grille. DO NOT block the chimney holes.

Ensure your wall has the proper support to hold the range hood weight. These instructions are general guidelines, please consult your installation specialist regarding the best type of mounting hardware and support system based on your wall construction.
6. Find the center of the wall where you are installing the hood. Mark your center line to the ceiling and measure out from the center to find your two mounting points. The (2) mounting holes will be found on the back of the range hood (the mounting holes will vary by model). Make sure your mounting points are level when you mark them. 7. Mark your mounting points and install the drywall anchors (D) turning until they are flush to the wall, do not overturn.
*To properly secure the range hood, identify a stud(s) and drill though the back of the range hood at stud location and secure with a wood screw(s) (not included) 9. Make sure the range hood is level. Finish screwing the (2) 1-3/16 drywall anchor screw (E) from step 5. Do not over tighten. 10. From the center line drawn in step 5, center the mounting bracket (H) at the top of the ceiling and insert (2) #10 X 3/4 (F) tapping screws into the horizontal holes and attach to the wall. See below. 11.
a) Remove screws from duct bracket (H). Insert mounting bracket inside of the bottom duct and align the holes. Replace the screws entering the back of the duct. This mounting bracket is for support of the ducts. Mounting bracket goes inside the duct b) Reinsert the top duct of the range hood into the bottom duct. Please ensure that the 2 outer edges of the top half slide between the mounting bracket (H) and inside walls of the bottom half. This is needed to ensure stability of the top half of the duct.
16. Once the bottom duct is secured, slowly slide the top duct towards the ceiling. Attach (2) #6 X 3/8 SM screws from the outside of the ducting to the bracket installed in step 9. 17. Install the grease collection tray to the motor housing, for models where this tray is included in the box. 18. Turn on unit and proceed to operating instruction. Note: There is a protective film covering the touch control panel. Please remove this film.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS Note: There are different operating instructions based on the control panel for your model. Please choose the operating instruction for your unit. Powering on/off and Settings: Lamp ➢ ➢ ➢ ➢ ➢ Timer Minus Clock Plus Fan Power/Standby Lamp: Press the lamp display one time to activate the light, press the lamp display again to deactivate it. Power/Standby: When the range hood is in the “original” state, touch this button. It will enter the standby mode.
Powering on/off and Settings: Lamp ➢ ➢ ➢ ➢ ➢ Timer Clock Fan Power/Standby Lamp: Press the lamp display one time to activate the light, press the lamp display again to deactivate it. Power/Standby: When the range hood is in the “original” state, touch this button. It will enter the standby mode. Setting the clock: When the range hood is on “Standby” Mode, press and hold the timer button for 3 seconds. The range hood will then enter the time setting state; the display screen will show numbers.
Powering on/off and Settings: Lamp Timer Minus ➢ ➢ ➢ ➢ ➢ Plus Fan Power/Standby Lamp: Press the lamp display one time to activate the light, press the lamp display again to deactivate it. Power/Standby: When the range hood is in the “original” state, touch this button. It will enter the standby mode. Setting the clock: When the range hood is on “Standby” Mode, press and hold the timer button for 3 seconds. The range hood will then enter the time setting state; the display screen will show numbers.

Power/Standby: When the range hood is in the “original” state, touch this button. It will enter the standby mode. Setting the clock: When the range hood is on “Standby” Mode, press and hold the timer button for 3 seconds.
CARE and MAINTENANCE Cleaning IMPORTANT: Clean the hood and panel filters frequently per the following instructions. Replace the panel filters before operating hood. Exterior Surfaces To avoid damage to the exterior surface, do not use steel wool or soap filled scouring pads. Always wipe dry to avoid water marks. Cleaning Method Use liquid mild-detergent soap and water, do not use hard abrasive cleaners. Wipe with damp soft cloth or non-abrasive sponge, then rinse with clean water and wipe dry.
• If new LED light does not operate, make sure the lamps are inserted correctly before calling for support. To replace: 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. Disconnect the power cord to ensure unit does not turn on. Remove filters. Reach behind the light and push towards you until the light pops out. Disconnect the electrical harness. Attach new bulbs to the electrical harness. Snap bulbs back into unit and replace filters. Reconnect the power cord.
LIMITED WARRANTY This warranty extends to the original purchaser only. This warranty is not transferable, between homes or owners and is only applicable to residential use. Winslyn Industries, LLC provides a 3-year limited parts warranty for all range hoods. Under this warranty, you (the customer), is entitled to replacement parts at no cost to repair and restore functionality if any part of the product were to fail. No labor is provided.
