Cleaning
Follow the instructions below to keep your washer clean and working reliably for a long time.
► Remember to unplug the power cord before cleaning the washer.
- May result in an electric shock and/or injury.
► Do not spray water directly on the product.
- May result in short-circuiting and/or an electric shock.
Warning
■Cleaning the detergent and fabric-softener drawer
• Insert a finger into the hook at the front of
the drawer, pull the drawer out, and then
clean it using water.
※ Never use a powdered detergent.
(May result in a malfunction and/or leak.)
※ Clean the areas indicated in the diagram.
※ Allowing contaminants and residue to build
inside the drawer or around its opening can
cause the washer to malfunction.

■Cleaning the washer
• Clean the product using a damp piece of cloth.
- Do not use household synthetic detergent, benzene, or paint thinner to clean the product.
Doing so will damage the plastic parts.
- If using a chemical cleaning agent, follow all precautions provided by the manufacturer.
Caution
■Cleaning the drainage filter
• The drainage filter needs to be periodically removed and cleaned.
• Unplug the power cord first and make sure the washer is turned off before removing and cleaning the filter.
- Some water may leak out from the product. Have a container ready to catch the water and
remove the cap filter.
- Removing the filter while the washer is in operation may result in hot water spewing out and
causing a burn. Please be careful.
Caution
① Undo the highlighted screw
using a screwdriver.
② Grab the cap filter's handle,
turn the filter, and pull it towards
you to remove it.
③ Clean the indicated parts of the
cap filter and the filter opening.
