Cleaning
Follow the instructions below to keep your washer clean and working reliably for a long time.
Remember to unplug the power cord before cleaning the washer.
- May result in an electric shock and/or injury.
Do not spray water directly on the product.
- May result in short-circuiting and/or an electric shock.
Warning
Cleaning the detergent and fabric-softener drawer
Insert a finger into the hook at the front of
the drawer, pull the drawer out, and then
clean it using water.
Never use a powdered detergent.
(May result in a malfunction and/or leak.)
Clean the areas indicated in the diagram.
Allowing contaminants and residue to build
inside the drawer or around its opening can
cause the washer to malfunction.

Cleaning the washer
Clean the product using a damp piece of cloth.

Do not use household synthetic detergent, benzene, or paint thinner to clean the product.
Doing so will damage the plastic parts.

If using a chemical cleaning agent, follow all precautions provided by the manufacturer.
Caution
Cleaning the drainage filter
The drainage filter needs to be periodically removed and cleaned.
Unplug the power cord first and make sure the washer is turned off before removing and cleaning the filter.

Some water may leak out from the product. Have a container ready to catch the water and
remove the cap filter.

Removing the filter while the washer is in operation may result in hot water spewing out and
causing a burn. Please be careful.
Caution
Undo the highlighted screw
using a screwdriver.
Grab the cap filter's handle,
turn the filter, and pull it towards
you to remove it.
Clean the indicated parts of the
cap filter and the filter opening.
