Chapter 6 Data Capturing
This chapter explains how to use Barcode Reader with Android Winmate® Data Collection application,
Smartcard Reader and Fingerprint Scanner that might be present in E430RM4L.
Android Winmate Data Collection (WDC)
Winmate® Android Device is equipped with embedded 1D/2D barcode reader. WDC, software invented
by Winmate®, allow users to turn on the readers and set up the button to trigger the scan function.
Where To Find WDC?
This chapter explains how to use Barcode Reader. Notice that Barcode Reader is an optional feature for
E430RM4L PDA and may not be presented in your device.
1. Tap application menu .
2. User can find the application Data Capture(WDC) on the
menu screen, with the Globe mark .
3. User will be able to change the settings of the Barcode
Reader through WDC application.
