INSTALLATION 1 Connect power adapter and keep the power cable running through the cable hook. 2 MicroSD Card (Pre-Installed). 3 Check the live screen in Type S Drive APP and determine the most suitable mounting position. (See page 13 on using the APP.) Warning: Do not install the product in a location where it can obstruct the driver’s field of vision.
4 Connect mount to the Drive 360 Dash Cam from left or right. 5 Attach the mount with cam to the windshield. 6 Route and hide the power cable in the headliner and pillars in your vehicle. Option 1 - Plug the Cigarette Charger Cable into the 12V DC outlet. OR 2. Constant Power Supply 6 1. 12V DC outlet Option 2 - Connect the Hardwire Cable into a 12V DC constant power supply.
7. CONNECT TO POWER Option 1 - Connect to 12V or 5V DC outlet Plug the Cigarette Charger Cable into a 12V DC outlet and turn on the engine, the Dash Cam will start recording. Notes: • 12V DC outlet does not provide constant power, the Drive 360 Dash Cam will not be able to record in Park & Record Mode when the vehicle’s engine is turned off. • Drive 360 Dash Cam can be used as a handheld action cam when connected to a 5V DC power source such as a power bank, with a Micro USB Cable (not included).
8. DASH CAM MODES & LED INDICATORS Power / Mode Status LED Indicators Power On Dash Cam powers ON when the engine is turned on. Alternatively, press and hold the power button for more than 3 seconds to power on the Dash Cam. Red LED light stays on when Dash Cam is powering on. Power Off Dash Cam powers OFF when the engine is turned off. Alternatively, press and hold the power button for more than 3 seconds to power OFF the Dash Cam. Red LED light flashes 1 time when the Dash Cam is powering off.

. DOWNLOAD THE APP The Drive 360 Dash Cam auto sync function enables you to control and play back recorded media files using your smartphone with the Type S Drive APP. Scan below QR code or search "Type S Drive" in the APP Store or Google Play. Download and install the APP. TYPE S DRIVE Compatible with iPhone 4s and higher, iPad3, iPad Mini, iPad Air and higher, and iPod touch 5th Generation and higher. Requires iOS 9.0 or higher. Compatible with phones with Android™ 5.0 or higher.
. SET UP THE APP Auto sync with the Dash Cam 1. Open the Drive 360 Dash Cam's main menu. 2. Go to WiFi Setting and turn it on. Note: Default WiFi is set as ON. 1 WiFi icon will appear on LCD screen 10 seconds after Dash Cam is powered on. 2 4 Android device 3. Open the Type S Drive APP and select App View 360 Dash Camera from the list of devices. 4. The APP will search for Dash Cam's SSID "TYPE_S_360_Cam_ XX" and connects to Dash Cam automatically. 5.

Press Settings on the APP permissions setting page. 6. Scroll to the top, and press to enter the WiFi setting page. 7. Choose “TYPE_S_360_Cam_XX” and Enter password “12345678”. 8. Press Type S Drive icon to return to the APP. 9. You should see the live view of the Dash Cam on the main interface.

USING THE APP Main Interface Main Menu On-screen Instructions WiFi Setting (iOS only) Mute On Display Mode Record GPS Signal Video Mode / Camera Mode Home Screen Gallery Main Menu The default settings of the Drive 360 Dash Cam will allow you to use it without the need to change any settings. However, you can still customize the Dash Cam any way you prefer. Press the icon to enter the Main Menu. Video Setting Loop Record - Select the duration of each recorded footage.
Camera Setting • Resolution - Select the resolution of recorded footages. • EV - Exposure Value. • Time Stamp - Select choices of time stamp on recorded footages. • Rotate - The default camera view is set to Down. Select rotate if your mounting angle requires you to flip the Dash Cam by 180 degrees. System Setting • Screen Save - Select the period of inactivity before the Dash Cam's LCD screen shut down automatically. • Date & Time - Set up the date and time. • Format - Erase everything on the MicroSD card.
Display Mode • Select from 7 different viewing modes. Normal 180˚ Normal 360˚ Rotate the Camera Lens into front facing when switching to Normal 180˚ viewing mode. Fish Eye 360˚ VR When 360˚ VR viewing mode is selected, user can change the field of view by swiping on the screen.
GPS Signal Status 1 GPS Signal Status 2 This status indicates GPS receiver is waiting for GPS signal when the footage is recorded. GPS trip data will resume once it picks up the signal. If this status appeared repeatedly please call our technical support to assist in troubleshooting. This status indicates map tracking is not working. Mobile data must be turned on for map tracking to process. 15. CONFIGURATION & MENU SETTINGS Apply configuration and settings to the Dash Cam using the 4 function buttons.
Gallery SD CARD tap Press the icon on the main interface to enter the media gallery. Press the SD CARD tap to access the media files stored in the MicroSD card. Scroll down the list to select the file arranging from newest to oldest. Press the icon to download the selected file into your smartphone, or press the icon to delete the file from the MicroSD card. MOBILE tap GPS Information Press the MOBILE tap to access the downloaded files in your smartphone.

Park & Record Mode Behavior Off Without time-lapse record, captures 30 frames per 1 second. 10 Time-lapse record, captures 1 frame per 10 seconds. 5 Time-lapse record, captures 1 frame per 5 seconds. 1 Time-lapse record, captures 1 frame per 1 second. G-Sensor Camera Setting When G-Sensor detects a sudden movement such as an impact or collision, it will trigger an Event Recording and the footage will be stored inside the Event folder inside the MicroSD card.
Exposure Level (EV) Time Stamp • Adjust the exposure level for different lighting conditions. • Values range from -2 to +2. Turn ON/ OFF the time stamp shown on recorded media files. Night Mode Select the Night Vision Mode. The light sensor detects and switches to Night Vision Mode automatically if the Dash Cam is recording in lowlight environments. Display visual will be brightened and in black and white under Night Vision Mode. Select the Auto Mode.
System Setting Screen Save Turn off the display after a chosen period of inactivity. To turn on the display press any of the function buttons. Date & Time Set the date and time before using the Drive 360 Dash Cam as this will affect the time stamp on all recorded media files. Note: Press the and button to select different time stamp combinations: DD/MM/YY , YY/MM/DD , MM/DD/YY. Format Default Setting Erase all data on the MicroSD card. To reset all settings to their defaults.
16. VIEWING AND MANAGING MEDIA FILES USING A COMPUTER MicroUSB Data Cable (not included) Once the Dash Cam is connected to a computer with a MicroUSB data cable (not included), this screen will show up on the Dash Cam. Select OK to proceed. The Dash Cam will function as a card reader for the computer, and it will appear as a new USB drive. User can manage files in the MicroUSB card directly from the computer. Note: The Dash Cam will stop recording when it is connected to a computer.

Be sure to check the Camera’s position and mounting angle before each use. Do not strike the Drive 360 Dash Cam. It is a precision instrument.

18. MAINTENANCE & WARRANTY CLEANING • If dirt, rain or snow attaches to the Camera, the Monitor may not clearly display objects. If water droplets, snow or mud adhere to the Camera lens, rinse with water and wipe with a dry cloth. • Do not use alcohol, benzene or thinner to clean the Camera. This will cause discoloration. To clean the Camera, wipe with a clean cloth dampened with mild cleaner diluted with water and then wipe with a dry cloth.
