15 Click Close.
3.4.2 Setting NIC Priority
If you have more than one network interface card (NIC) in your computer, make
sure that the LAN card has the highest priority; the computer attempts to use the
NICs in the order listed.
To set NIC priority:
Windows computer
1 Click the Windows Start icon.
2 Select Control Panel. The Control Panel window opens.
3 Select Network and Internet.
4 Select Network and Sharing Center.
5 In the left pane, select Change adapter settings.
6 In the toolbar, click Advanced, and then Advanced Settings.
7 Select Local Area Connection and then click the up arrow repeatedly until
Local Area Connection is the first item.
