Series RFB9/11 Floor Boxes are excellent
solutions for providing power, communications, and the
special space requirements of audio/visual type connectors
to above grade floors, in open space areas, or directly
to the workstation. The tile and carpet style covers for
these floor boxes incorporate TopGuard
™
protection to
prevent water, dirt, and debris from entering the power and
communication compartments. RFB9/11 cover assemblies
are UL Listed to U.S. and Canadian safety standards for tile,
terrazzo, carpet and wood covered floors. RFB9/11 Floor
Boxes have many unique applications, including schools,
auditoriums, convention center ballrooms, exhibition halls,
and institutional facilities.

Large Capacity Floor Boxes for
Power, Communication & A/V Applications
n Heavy Duty Cover Assembly will accept loads up to
3,000 lbs. Provides added protection for most applications.
n Large capacity; the RFB11 has 11 gangs, and the RFB9
has 9 gangs to accept both power and communication
devices. Reduces installation cost by eliminating the need
for multiple floor boxes to provide the necessary services
to one location.
n Two large cable egress areas. Provides additional
space and flexibility for both power and communication
cable egress.
n New lightweight “slab-on-grade” version. Special
fusion-bonded epoxy corrosion resistant paint finish allows
“slab-on-grade” use without the weight of cast iron material.
n Accepts standard industry sized device plates and
industry standard sectional device plates. Allows
for quick and flexible installation of both power and
communication devices.
n Two box sizes available; 6" deep (RFB11) and 4" deep
(RFB9). Provides flexibility to provide power/communication
services in various concrete pour depths.
n Multiple trade size knockouts from 3/4" to 2". Allows for
most conduit schemes which saves time and money
during installation.
n Accepts a wide variety of Extron® Architectural Series
video and audio products including computer video
interfaces, twisted pair transceivers, and modular

n Datacom connectivity options. Accepts industry standard
and proprietary devices from a wide range of manufacturers

prevents water, dirt, and debris from entering power and
communication compartments. Whenever you see the
TopGuard protection icon on any Wiremold product,
you’ll know it meets and exceeds UL scrub water exclusion
requirements for tile and carpet floors.
n UL Listed to U.S. and Canadian safety standards for
tile, terrazzo, carpet, and wood covered floors. RFB11
and RFB9 cover assemblies meet UL requirements under
UL514A for scrub water exclusion.
