Before a trip
If your trips are recorded in the logbook, a window for entering the trip's
key data is opened before navigation starts. You can also decide,
however, not to record the trip in question.
► If you don't want to record the trip in question, tap on
(Cancel
).

1. Enter a name for this entry, e.g. "Trip to customer X", in the
Logbook Entry
box.
2. Enter the mileage.
3. Tap on Reason for the Trip
and select a reason for the trip from the
list of possibilities.
7 Handsfree Module
The hands-free function allows you to use the NAVIGON 72XX as a
hands-free module for your mobile phone.
Opening the hands-free module
► Tap in the navigation application on (Phone).
The H
ANDSFREE MODULE window opens.
Operating the hands-free module
All functions can be performed in the HANDSFREE MODULE window.
► Tap on (Navigation) in order to move the navigation
application into the foreground.
► Tap on (Back) in order to close the hands-free module and
return again to the previously opened window.
7.1 Connecting to a telephone
The NAVIGON 72XX must be connected to a mobile phone in order for
you to use the telephone functions.
If the NAVIGON 72XX was last connected to the same mobile phone,
the connection will be established without further prompting.
