9.2 Identification and serial number
The navigation device has been provided with various identification
labels. (e.g. CE label, serial number, ...). These labels may be found on
the back side of the device, under a cover in the middle of the two
openings for the holder. The NAVIGON logo is to be seen on this cover.
If you need to see any of these labels, proceed as follows:
1. Put your finger nail in the space at the top of the cover.
2. Pull the cover away from the device.
Replacing the cover:
1. Place the cover correctly in position.
2. Push the cover firmly against the device until it latches home in all
corners.
9.3 Legal declarations and statements
9.3.1 Declaration of conformity
The NAVIGON 72XX device described in this manual bears the
following labels:
It is authorised for operation in the countries of the European Union,
Switzerland, Norway and the countries of North America.
NAVIGON AG declares herewith that the NAVIGON 72XX device
conforms with the Radio & Telecommunication Terminal Equipment
Directive (R&TTE) (1999/5/EEC).
