Onlyasystemadministratorcanset,change,orremoveasupervisorpassword.
Toset,change,orremoveasupervisorpassword,dothefollowing:
1.Printtheseinstructions.
2.Saveallopenles,andexitallprograms.
3.Turnyourtabletoffandthenturnitonagain.
4.Whenthelogoscreenisdisplayed,tap“Tointerruptnormalstartup,pressEnter”.TheBootMenu
windowopens.
5.TaptheApplicationMenutab.TapSetup.TheThinkPadSetupprogrammainmenuopens.
6.TapSecurity.
7.TapPassword.
8.TapSupervisorPassword.
9.Awindowopens,promptingyoutoenteranewpassword.Dependingonyourneeds,dooneofthe
following:
•Tosetapassword,dothefollowing:
a.IntheEnterNewPasswordeld,enteradesiredpasswordandtapEnter.
b.IntheConrmNewPasswordeld,reenterthepasswordandtapEnter.
•Tochangeapassword,dothefollowing:
