Thissectionprovidesinformationabouttherecoverysolutions.
Refreshingyourtablet
Ifyourtabletdoesnotperformwellandtheproblemmightbecausedbyarecentlyinstalledprogram,you
canrefreshyourtabletwithoutlosingyourpersonallesorchangingyoursettings.
Attention:Ifyourefreshyourtablet,theprogramsthatcamewithyourtabletandtheprogramsthatyou
installedfromWindowsStorewillbereinstalled,butallotherprogramswillberemoved.
Torefreshyourtablet,dothefollowing:
1.Swipeinfromtherightedgeofthescreentodisplaythecharms.
2.TapSettings➙ChangePCsettings.
3.Inthenavigationpanel,tapGeneral.
4.IntheRefreshyourPCwithoutaffectingyourlessection,clickGetstarted.
Resettingyourtablettothefactorydefaultsettings
Youcanresetyourtablettothefactorydefaultsettings.Resettingthetabletwillreinstalltheoperating
system,andreinstallalltheprogramsandsettingsthatcamewithyourtablet.
Attention:Ifyouresetyourtablet,allyourpersonallesandsettingswillbedeleted.Toavoiddataloss,
makeabackupcopyofallthedatathatyouwanttokeep.
Toresetyourtablet,dothefollowing:
1.Swipeinfromtherightedgeofthescreentodisplaythecharms.
2.TapSettings➙ChangePCsettings.
3.Inthenavigationpanel,tapGeneral.
4.IntheRemoveeverythingandreinstallWindowssection,tapGetstarted.

Advancedstartupoptions
AdvancedstartupoptionsenableyoutochangethestartupsettingsofyourWindowsoperatingsystem,
startthetabletfromanexternaldevice,orrestoretheWindowsoperatingsystemfromasystemimage.
Tousetheadvancedstartupoptions,dothefollowing:
1.Swipeinfromtherightedgeofthescreentodisplaythecharms.
2.TapSettings➙ChangePCsettings.
3.Inthenavigationpanel,tapGeneral.
4.IntheAdvancedstartupsection,tapRestartnow➙Troubleshoot➙Advancedoptions.
5.Restartyourtabletfollowingtheinstructionsonthescreen.
