Installingdevicedrivers
Thedevicedriversareavailableathttp://www.lenovo.com/ThinkPadDrivers.Clickyourtabletproduct
nametoviewallthedevicedriversforyourtablet.
Attention:Alwaysgotohttp://www.lenovo.com/ThinkPadDriversforthelatestdevicedrivers.Donot
downloadthemfromtheWindowsUpdateWebsite.
ThinkPadSetup
YourtabletcomeswiththeThinkPadSetupprogramtoenableyoutoselectvarioussetupparameters.
TostarttheThinkPadSetupprogram,dothefollowing:
1.Turnonthetablet.Whenthelogoscreenisdisplayed,tap“Tointerruptnormalstartup,pressEnter”.
TheBootMenuwindowopens.
2.TaptheApplicationMenutab.
3.TapSetup.TheThinkPadSetupprogrammainmenuopens.
Note:Ifyouhavesetasupervisorpassword,theThinkPadSetupprogrammainmenuwillbedisplayed
afteryouenterthepasswordontheonscreenkeyboard.YoucanstarttheThinkPadSetupprogramby
tappingEnterinsteadofenteringthesupervisorpasswordontheonscreenkeyboard.However,you
cannotchangetheparametersthatareprotectedbythesupervisorpassword.Formoreinformation,
referto“Usingpasswords”onpage29.
4.Taptheitemyouwanttochange.Asubmenuisdisplayed.
5.TapRestart.Taptheoptionyouwantforrestartingyourtablet.
Note:Youcanalsoinstallthetabletintothekeyboarddockorattachanexternalkeyboardtothetabletrst.
Then,turnonthetablet.Whenthelogoscreenisdisplayed,presstheF1key.TheThinkPadSetupprogram
mainmenuopens.Usethekeyboardtochangethesettingsconveniently.
