Lenovoencouragesyoutomakeefcientuseofenergyanintegralpartofyourday-to-dayoperations.To
helpinthisendeavor,Lenovohaspresetthefollowingpower-managementfeaturestotakeeffectwhenyour
computerhasbeeninactiveforaspeciedlengthoftime:
Powerplan:EnergySaver(settingswhenpluggedintoacpower)
•Turnoffthedisplay:After10minutes
•Putthetabletintosleep:After20minutes
•Advancedpowersettings:
–Turnoffharddisks:After15minutes
–Hibernate:Never
Toawakenyourtabletfromsleepmode,pressthepowerbutton.Formoreinformationaboutthesesettings,
seetheWindowsHelpandSupportinformationonyourtablet.
TheWakeonLANfunctionisenabledwhenyourtabletisshippedfromthefactory,andthesettingremains
validevenwhenthetabletisinsleepmode.IfyoudonotneedtohaveWakeonLANenabledwhileyour
tabletisinsleepmode,youcanreducethepowerconsumptionandprolongthetimeinsleepmode,by
disablingthesettingofWakeonLANforsleepmode.TodisablethesettingofWakeonLANforsleep
mode,dothefollowing:
1.Fromthedesktop,swipeinfromtherightedgeofthescreentodisplaythecharms.
2.TapSettings➙ControlPanel➙HardwareandSound➙DeviceManager.
3.IntheDeviceManagerwindow,expandNetworkadapters.
4.Pressandholdyournetworkadapterdevice,andtapProperties.
