Solution:Thebatterymightbeover-discharged.Connecttheacpoweradaptertothecomputerandletit
charge.Ifthebatterycannotbefullychargedin24hours,contactLenovotoreplacethebattery.
•Problem:Thecomputershutsdownbeforethebatterystatusiconshowsthatthebatteryisempty.
Solution:Dischargeandrechargethebattery.
•Problem:Thecomputeroperatesafterthebatterystatusiconshowsthatthebatteryisempty.
Solution:Dischargeandrechargethebattery.
•Problem:Theoperatingtimeforafullychargedbatteryisshort.
Solution:Dischargeandrechargethebattery.Ifyourbatteryoperatingtimeisstillshort,contactLenovo

Solution:Thesurgeprotectorinthebatterymightbeactive.Turnoffthecomputerforoneminutetoreset
theprotector;thenturnonthecomputeragain.
•Problem:Thebatterycannotgetcharged.
Solution:Youcannotchargethebatterywhenitistoohot.Turnoffthecomputerandwaitforawhileto
letthebatterycooltoroomtemperature.Afteritcools,rechargethebattery.Ifitstillcannotbecharged,
haveitserviced.
Poweradapterproblem
Problem:Theacpoweradapterisconnectedtothecomputerandtheworkingelectricaloutlet,butthe
poweradapter(powerplug)iconisnotdisplayedintheWindowsnotificationarea.Theacpowerindicator
alsodoesnotlightup.
Solution:Dothefollowing:
1.Ensurethattheconnectionoftheacpoweradapteriscorrect.
2.Iftheconnectionoftheacpoweradapteriscorrect,turnoffthecomputer,andthendisconnecttheac
poweradapter.
3.Reconnecttheacpoweradapter,andthenturnonthecomputer.
4.IfthepoweradaptericonstillisnotdisplayedintheWindowsnotificationarea,havetheacpower
adapterandyourcomputerserviced.
