Tousetheinfraredcameratounlockyourcomputer,dothefollowing:
1.Facetheinfraredcamera.Keepadistanceofabout30cmto75cm(11.8inchesto29.5inches)away
fromthefrontoftheinfraredcamera.
2.Followtheinstructionsonthescreenandensurethatyouarecenteredandlookingdirectlyatthe
camera.Whenyourfaceisrecognized,theWindowsoperatingsystemunlocksandandsignsyou
inautomatically.
Usinganexternaldisplay
Thissectionprovidesinstructionsonhowtoconnectanexternaldisplay,choosedisplaymodes,and
changedisplaysettings.
Youcanuseanexternaldisplaysuchasaprojectororamonitortogivepresentationsortoexpandyour
workspace.
Yourcomputersupportsthefollowingvideoresolution,iftheexternaldisplayalsosupportsthatresolution.
•Upto4096x2304pixels/60Hz,withanexternaldisplayconnectedtotheUSB-Cconnector
•Upto3840x2160pixels/30Hz,withanexternaldisplayconnectedtotheHDMIconnector

Connectinganexternaldisplay
Youcanuseeitherawireddisplayorawirelessdisplay.Thewireddisplaycanbeconnectedtoavideo
connectorsuchastheHDMIconnectorandUSB-Cconnector(compatiblewithThunderbolt3)byacable.
ThewirelessdisplaycanbeaddedthroughtheMiracastfunction.

Note:Whenyouconnectanexternalmonitor,avideointerfacecablewithaferritecoreisrequired.
1.Connecttheexternaldisplaytoanappropriatevideoconnectoronyourcomputer.
2.Connecttheexternaldisplaytoanelectricaloutlet.
3.Turnontheexternaldisplay.
Ifyourcomputercannotdetecttheexternaldisplay,right-clickonthedesktop,andthenclickScreen
resolution/Displaysettings➙Detect.
•Connectingawirelessdisplay
Note:Touseawirelessdisplay,ensurethatbothyourcomputerandtheexternaldisplaysupportthe
Miracastfeature.
Dooneofthefollowing:
–OpentheStartmenu,andthenclickSettings➙Devices➙Connecteddevices➙Addadevice.
–Clicktheactioncentericon
intheWindowsnotificationarea.ClickConnect.Selectthewireless
displayandfollowtheinstructionsonthescreen.
