turniton.AlistofavailableBluetoothdevicesisdisplayed.

UsingNFCdevices
Dependingonthemodel,yourtabletmightcomewiththeNFCfeature.NFCisahigh-frequencyand
short-rangewirelesscommunicationstechnology.ByusingtheNFCfeature,youcanestablishradio
communicationsbetweenyourtabletandanotherNFC-enableddeviceoveradistancenomorethanafew
centimeters.SomeLenovoappsareusingtheNFCfeature.
ThissectionprovidesthebasicinstructionsonparingyourtabletwithanNFCdevice.Formoreinformation
aboutdatatransfer,refertothedocumentationoftheNFCdevice.
Attention:
•BeforehandlingtheNFCcard,touchametaltableoragroundedmetalobject.Otherwisethecardmight
getdamagedbythestaticelectricityfromyourbody.
•Duringthedatatransfer,donotputyourtabletorNFC-enabledsmartphoneintosleepmode;otherwise,
yourdatacouldgetdamaged.

Beforeyoustart,ensurethatthecardisinNFCDataExchangeFormat(NDEF),otherwisethecardcannot
bedetected.
1.TapthecardontheNFCtouchpointasshown.
2.Slowlymovethecardintheuprightdirectionwithina10mm(0.39inch)distance.Thenholdthecardfor
secondsuntilyouarepromptedthatthecardhasbeensuccessfullydetected.
