2.OpentheStartmenu,thentapSettingsDevicesBluetooth.ThentaptheBluetoothcontrolto
turniton.AlistofavailableBluetoothdevicesisdisplayed.
Note:SettingsmightnotbedisplayedintheStartmenu.Inthiscase,tapAllappstofindSettings.
3.SelectthetargetBluetoothdeviceandtapPair.
UsingNFCdevices
Dependingonthemodel,yourtabletmightcomewiththeNFCfeature.NFCisahigh-frequencyand
short-rangewirelesscommunicationstechnology.ByusingtheNFCfeature,youcanestablishradio
communicationsbetweenyourtabletandanotherNFC-enableddeviceoveradistancenomorethanafew
centimeters.SomeLenovoappsareusingtheNFCfeature.
ThissectionprovidesthebasicinstructionsonparingyourtabletwithanNFCdevice.Formoreinformation
aboutdatatransfer,refertothedocumentationoftheNFCdevice.

BeforehandlingtheNFCcard,touchametaltableoragroundedmetalobject.Otherwisethecardmight
getdamagedbythestaticelectricityfromyourbody.
Duringthedatatransfer,donotputyourtabletorNFC-enabledsmartphoneintosleepmode;otherwise,
yourdatacouldgetdamaged.
TopairyourtabletwithanNFCcard:
Beforeyoustart,ensurethatthecardisinNFCDataExchangeFormat(NDEF),otherwisethecardcannot
bedetected.
1.TapthecardontheNFCtouchpointasshown.
2.Slowlymovethecardintheuprightdirectionwithina10mm(0.39inch)distance.Thenholdthecardfor
secondsuntilyouarepromptedthatthecardhasbeensuccessfullydetected.
