Checking the Air Quality of the Room
Overview
Your Withings Home allows you to check the air quality of the room by indicating the level
of VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds). VOCs are a large group of carbon-based chemicals
that easily evaporate at room temperature. They are a good indicator of the air quality
and the ventilation of the room.
450 - 1,000 ppm: Good
1,000 - 2,000 ppm: Medium
2,000 - 3,000 ppm: Bad
> 3,000 ppm: Very bad
The Withings Home is not a carbon monoxide detector, and does not provide
alerts or warnings about hazardous levels of carbon monoxide.
From the moment you’ve set up your Withings Home , it takes 48 hours for it to nish
calibrating its environmental sensors.
