Drill Press Depth Gauge

The WR503 can be mounted to a variety of drill presses in a number of different ways. Pick the

mounting method and position that works best for your machine.

If your drill press has a conventional depth stop rod the scale can be attached to that (FIG 1). If

you don’t have a depth stop rod it can be attached directly to the collar on the quill (FIG 2).

NOTE: The Scale can be carefully cut shorter using a hack saw if it is too long (FIG 3)

There 2 different brackets provided to mount the readout to a depth stop rod and they can be

mounted in several different ways. Directly in front of the depth stop using the Stop Bracket (FIG

4) or off to the side using the Offset Bracket (FIG 5)
