Alarm Tolerance: This setting adjusts how far above or below the
Reference Level
will activate the
Over
or
Under
alarms. It also
affects the size of the green segment in the LU meter. When an EBU
standard is selected, this setting default to +/- 1 LU and when the
IEC standard is selected, it will default to +/- 2 LU. This control
will allow further adjustment according to actual needs. Turning
the
Alarm Tolerance
control will select one of six possible
settings:
+/- 1 LU
+/- 2 LU
+/- 3 LU
+/- 4 LU
+/- 5 LU
+/- 6 LU
Loudness Window: Pressing this knob will select one of the three
possible settings:
Momentary (0.4 seconds) (default): This setting will cause the
loudness measurement to respond quickly to sudden jumps
in audio loudness.
Short Term (3 seconds)
Custom (1 second to 120 minutes): If
Custom
is selected by
pressing the
Loudness Window
knob, then rotating the
knob will select the integration time of your choice.
