Ingestion: May be harmful or fatal if swallowed. May cause vomiting and gastrointestinal
tract irritation. Aspiration of this product into the lung may cause chemical pneumonitis, which
can be fatal.
Inhalation: Avoid breathing vapors or mists. High concentrations may lead to central
nervous system effects (drowsiness, dizziness, nausea, headaches).
Potential Chronic Health Effects:

Section 4 First Aid Measures
Eye contact: Immediately flush with plenty of water for 15 minutes. Get medical attention.
Skin contact: Wash thoroughly with soap and water. If redness, itching, burning or other
symptoms develop or persist, get medical attention. Wash contaminated clothing before reuse.
Ingestion: If swallowed, do NOT induce vomiting. If the victim is conscious, give a glass of
milk or water to dilute. Get medical attention. NEVER GIVE ANYTHING BY MOUTH TO
AN UNCONSCIOUS PERSON.
Inhalation: Remove to fresh air. If not breathing, give artificial respiration. If breathing is
difficult, give oxygen. Get medical attention.
Note to Physician: There is no specific antidote for effects from overexposure to this
material. Treatment should be directed at the control of symptoms and the clinical
manifestations.
Section 5 Fire Fighting Measures
Flash Point: 104º F (40º C)
Extinguishing Media: Use water spray, dry chemical, carbon dioxide, or foam.
Protection of Firefighters: As in any fire, wear self-contained breathing apparatus pressure-demand,
MSHA/NIOSH (approved or equivalent) and full protective gear. Use water spray to cool exposed
containers. Protect against the runoff contaminating adjacent areas.
Fire and Explosion Hazards: When heated (fire conditions), vapor/decomposition
products may be released forming flammable mixtures in air. Closed containers may explode
when exposed to extreme heat (fire).
