Overview Thank you for choosing a Woo Audio product. The WEE is an electrostatic headphone converter for dynamic speaker amp. It converts speaker amp output to be usable for electrostatic headphones. If you already have a speaker amp setup, the WEE is probably the most economical solution to start enjoying electrostatic headphones. The WEE is highly efficient - a 3-watt speaker amplifier is able to drive any Stax headphones effortlessly.

WARNING: failure to select the correct voltage will result in damage of the amp. Switch to label “230” for AC210 to 240V voltage. Switch to label “115” for AC100 to 125V voltage. The following types of connectors are supported in the WEE. Pin connectors are easier to work with than bare wire, and they fit securely in spring clips or binding posts. Banana plugs are a popular choice — they simply plug into the middle of a binding post, giving you a solid connection. Operation DO NOT switch to the speaker output (“SPK”) when there are no speakers connected to the WEE. Failure to do so could damage your speaker amplifier. Stax headphones and speakers switching: • The “SPK” position is for Speakers output. • The “STAX” position is for Stax headphones output. FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions What headphones are supported? The WEE is designed to work with 5-pin PRO bias Stax headphones. We can custom make the unit to accept a 6-pin NORMAL bias headphone. How do I adjust volume? It is controlled through your speaker amp that is connected to the WEE. How good is the WEE compared to a dedicated electrostatic amp? The WEE is a converter and not an amp. The sound quality depends on your speaker amp. For the best result, a dedicated amp is recommended.
Warranty and Service Woo Audio warrants this product free from defects in materials and workmanship for 1 year from the original date of purchase. The tubes are warranted for 30 days unless otherwise stated. In the event that your Woo Audio product requires servicing, please contact us directly to get a return instruction. If the equipment needs to be shipped back, please use the original packaging and include a copy of the sales purchase along with a detailed explanation of the problem(s).
