ZONE CONNECTIONS
KP21 Connections
Control, Digital Audio, Data (Three Zone System)
This connection provides local zone, common source and system control and feeds the KP21
amplifier with digital audio for the currently selected source. If using Sony ES or Pioneer Elite
DVD Changers, this connection will also provide disc and track information that will be visible on
the keypad display when that source is selected.
1. Using a CAT5e cable properly terminated with an RJ45 connector, connect the cable from
one of the Multiroom Link Terminals [circle 30] on the AVR21EN, to the AVH21 Hub
Terminal [hexagon 23] on the KP21 rear panel as shown in Figure 96.
Control, Digital Audio, Data (Hub System)
1. Using a CAT5e cable properly terminated with an RJ45 connector, connect the cable from
the appropriate AVH21 A/V Hub KP Terminal [pentagon 5] to the AVH21 Hub Terminal
[hexagon 23] on the KP21 rear panel as shown in Figure 96.
