3 3. Hazards, safety information and warnings Improper use of camera and accessories may put you and others at risk. The camera might be damaged or destroyed. So please read the following hazards, safety information and warnings carefully and observe them strictly. Purpose The Inspection Camera is intended for pictorial display of areas that are difficult to reach. It is designed for private use and is unsuitable for commercial purposes.
4 The batteries may not be thrown onto a fire, short-circuited, overcharged, deformed or otherwise taken apart. There is a risk of fire and explosion. Never touch batteries that have leaked without proper protection. Upon contact of the battery acid with the skin wash the point affected with water and soap. Avoid eye contact with battery acid. Should you ever have eye contact with battery acid, rinse the eyes with water and contact a doctor inmediately.

7 5. Using your Inspection Camera 5.1. Inserting batteries As soon as the red LED lights come on, the batteries are exhausted and need to be replaced. To change the batteries, open the battery compartment cover on the back of the camera by pressing the lower lug upwards a little and lifting the cover off. Remove any batteries present and insert new batteries in accordance with the symbols in the base of the battery compartment. Your camera is now ready for use.
8 5.4. Setting the LED lighting There are 4 white LED lights next to the camera lens at the tip of the Inspection Camera tube to enable the area around the camera to be lit. These LEDs can be set to a total of 7 brightness levels. On switching the camera on, the highest brightness level is always set. Pressing the button will gradually reduce the brightness until the LEDs are switched off completely. Continue pressing the button to gradually set the brightness higher again. 5.5.
9 6. Conformity This device has been tested per Part 15 of the FCC rules, which confirmed that the thresholds for a digital device of Class B have been met. These thresholds should offer appropriate protection against harmful interference when installed in a housing complex. If this device is not installed in accordance with the instructions, it may interfere with television and radio devices.
10 7. Care Never use corrosive cleaning agents like methylated spirits, thinners etc. to clean the camera housing and the accessories supplied with the camera. If necessary, clean the components of the system using a soft, dry cloth. 8. Storage Always remove the batteries (rechargeable batteries are not included in the scope of supply) from the housing if you will not be using the camera for a longer period and store them separately.
