OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS WARNING! Do not use the product without attaching the guard and front handle. Intended Use The machine is intended for cutting and trimming hedges and bushes in domestic use. 1. GUARD ASSEMBLY Insert the Safety Guard (4) into the slot as illustrated in Fig A; making sure it is securely attached. Use two screws to fix the Safety Guard securely. 2. FRONT HANDLE ASSEMBLY The Front Handle (3) must be assembled before use: 1) Remove the bolt from the Front Handle.
5. TO REMOVE OR INSTALL BATTERY PACK (See Fig. E) Depress the Battery Pack Release Button (7) to release battery pack from your tool. After recharging, insert the battery pack into the battery port. A simple push and slight pressure will be sufficient. Check to see if the battery is fully secured. E 10 F1 F2 6. STARTING AND STOPPING BEFORE STARTING YOUR HEDGE TRIMMER Remove Blade Sheath (9). TO START YOUR HEDGE TRIMMER Your hedge trimmer is equipped with two Switch Levers (5 & 6).
TOP CUTTING Use a wide sweeping motion (See Fig. G1). A slight downward tilt of the cutting blades in the direction of motion gives the best cutting results. SIDE CUTTING When trimming the sides of the hedge, begin at the bottom and cut upwards (See Fig. G2), tapering the hedge inward at the top. This shape will expose more of the hedge, resulting in a more uniformed growth. 8. CLEANING REMOVE THE BATTERY PACK. Use a soft brush to remove debris from all air intakes and cutting blade.
